Going to different places is always fun. It's not just a hobby that you look forward to sometimes. Doing it will gain us a priceless experience that no one could ever take it away from you. It's something that helps us become a better person by learning different cultures from different countries. Seeing the way of life of other people will make us realize that life is really precious. It is short that we should live it to the fullest. It's not something we take for granted. It is valuable that we are entitled to make it meaningful in any way possible; and traveling is just one of the many possible ways.
I'm so excited to share with you guys today a simple but unique hotel that is owned by two of my friends. Come and take a look!
Hostal Monte Cristi is located at the heart of Nicaragua (Managua). It is a brand new hostal owned by my friends Calvin Wong and Marnelli Hernandez, and is less than 1 km away from the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport. The location is so ideal that it is equipped with a 24-hour security and you can find a lot of things you need in the neighborhood alone like food through restaurants, a pharmacy, and drinks through bars. Yet, they offer a free airport shuttle service for all their guests that will make your arrival at ease.
I took some photos around the place during my stay there so you can see a lot of things that this unique hostal has. Here they are:
They have a landscaped mini garden where you can sit down and chat for a while.
The color of the hostal is so cool that it actually matches the colors of the flag of Nicaragua. They put a touch of red to it to make it stand out more.
The cleanliness of this place alone is a standout. I cannot even tell you how organized things are during my stay.

They also sell locally-made products great for souvenirs or as gifts to your loved ones.
In this photo is their latest ranking on Booking.com website and a handy map posted exclusively for guests to see where they can go in Nicaragua for tours, sightseeing, and gain experiences through different travel activities offered by many tourist spots. You can also ask them to tour you for a fee depending on where you want to go.

First floor dining area. Also, they have an open kitchen where you can cook freely whatever you want. They also have a microwave and refrigerator available for use. Yet, they also offer free distilled drinking water. How nice is that!
Maybe you're wondering why I didn't share any photos of the rooms. They are fully-booked the time I went there so I wasn't able to do that. But don't worry!
